A Message From the Chief
On behalf of the men and women of the Putnam Police Department “thank you” for taking an interest in us. The Putnam Police take great pride and have a long history of partnering with the community and its citizens to provide the very best of police services. We collaborate with our school district, our town departments, social services agencies, and the business association for the purpose of making Putnam, CT a “safe and friendly” place to live, work, and to visit.
As you search our website, we offer a number of resources available to you from instructions how to obtain a pistol permit, contact victim and addiction services, and how to file a compliment or complaint. Additionally, there are quick links to our governing body the Special Service District Authority and the Town of Putnam website.
